H22A with Clutchmasters stage 5 clutch issue help and ideas appraciated
I got my Trans back into my car H22A with a M2F4, installed a clutchmaster stage5 clutch. Went for a drive and before I had a reverse issue only, I only put a new sleeve and syncro on the reverse/5th gear set, now 4th gear popped out and when moving on hte second try to get it in it grinded. With car off all gears work fine, so I rechecked the fluid"ok" rechecked the clutch fluid"ok" and when I had the wife pump the peddle the slave goes out but does not retrac all the way, Never noticed before with the Exedy Stage 2 if it did or not. And it's got new cables and they are not crossed or in a sharp angle going to the shift mechanizm.
Questions 1. What causes a shift to just pop out of gear 2. Does your slave cylinder retract all the way, if so peddle adjustment: will it help for more travel? 3. Anyone with a Clutchmaster's stage 5 full race clutch run into this issue also? Thanks |

Ok nig... Hit me up later on IM and we can chat.... That clutch is strong... Like to the point that its gay to use it on the street. If the engagement is really harsh, youre going through what im seeing, as youre not making the power I am, that just re-enforces my thinking on the problem... Ill let you know if the Tilton Valve takes care of it in a few weeks.
Ive got a couple street grudge matches I need to take care of with the GT40 on the car. BE NICE to the f4 or youll braek it to. I have found what to look for in order to judge if ones going to hold up for any amount of time, but all the gears have to come off the shafts. i feel confident that the heat treat and the Tilton FCV will fix my problem... Your still a fag. A black one. |

Man I've been pulling 14hr shifts at work, new lineup for Toyota the RAV 4 seat. I got 5 new robots over the weekend and each one has 8 jig change overs along with the combined Camry line up. I just got done draining all my fluids and pulled the DDS stage 3 axles tonight. Got the turbo stuff to remove and pull the mother fucker out. Sucks that the whole motor has to be pulled. Wish someone made a custom rear frame to clear the H22A trans for removal only. Let me know IM me your cell if you will, or email it to me. Or I'll send you my work phone #.
But I drove it tonight before draining fluids and cranked the boost to 23 psi on P195's 2nd 3rd and not 4th" deleted" but 5th was STRONG. Belts showing now ---- I'm retarded for driving on those in winter with 400hp |

there needs to be a forum section called 'widebody and bigdaddy chat' where you two can make all the threads you want and stop having an e-relationship across the rest of hmt.

Many people get that advise
So where do all these end up? Got to be somewhere. Still have Kuritakisa or Kurt we say at work trying to get his brother to pick me up since he is still in Japan UNDER POWER nah just over stressed. Glad that your at least running straight Pulling my head and sending back to the machine shop for some porting and bowl resurfacing. And remove those junk KMS bronze valve guides, got 2 that are leaking/scarred up and allowing seepage. Thank god its winter, if this was summer I'd sell the bastard |
