guage instructions

Default guage instructions

can anybody help me with my mechanical guages.I have a 92 civic with a d15 and i need to know where run my temp sensor for my water temp guage and where to run my line for my oil pressure guage.Pictures would really be the most help if somebody can swing that

you could have grouped this post up with your tach post. for your oil gauge you can t off from the pressure sender on the block, a tuner toys fitting or a stealthmode firewall kit would help with that. I'm not sure about the water temp, I need to figure that out myself.

You can put your temp sending unit into the front water outlet housing on the head.( that your radiator hose goes to) On D Series motors, if you have one, from 92-95 and maybe before there is an air bleeder there. Its useless, Honda did away with it in 96. I have a 96 so I have to get one from a junk yard. Anyway, remove the bleed screw and drill the hole all the way to the coolant passage. Then just tap it the correct size. I used an electric sender so mine might have been smaller. I will get a pic tonight of what it looks like. It works great.
