car is 89 crx si, anyone done this b4? i seen on ht but though id ask on here. hows the vss and ---- go i already have a newer sensor from a tranny with it work in my cable b16? and do i just wire the sensor straight to the cluster right?

 

the wiring for 88-89 is a little different then the 90-91 from what i read on the cluster swap. for the vss, you pull the cable vss out of the tranny and disconnect it from the back of the cluster. then put in the new electrical vss from a 92- up civic or 94-up integra into the tranny where you pulled out the cable driven vss,this wires straight to the cluster. heres links... my dc2 type r cluster is coming in the mail so ill be doing this also in my crx.
