i was about to do my thermostat but i noticed 2 wires un plugged. they are green and yellow, looks like they go to the tranny(standard) and they join into another two the go to the head/block? any ideas if these would affect my heat? cause i don't feel like changing my thermostat

 

as far as I know, those wires are for the reverse light indicator.
