got a d16z6 for free

so, a friend of mine gave me a d16z6 that he bought together with the d16z6 tranny and was taking space in his small garage. He never used the engine because the previous owner said that something was knocking, probably the bearings. I started to disassemble the engine and the some of the bearings were loose and worn out. My question now is, is this the problem? or should i inspect other stuff? Thanks.

Get new bearings and see, check everything you can while the engine is apart. Download a shop manual.

And learn to post ---- in the right section

spun bearing=crank is trash

then find a used crank. Match bearings to new crank/rodcombo

the crank looks ok.. and finding a used crank here it's not easy. and if i find it it's probably way too expensive.

well if the crank is fine then the motor didnt knoock dudddddeeeeee

spun rod bearings are a result of the bearing making sweet dirty nig nog love to the crank resulting in scars like papa roach's song
