in this months honda tuning it shows step by step how to install and dyno charts of eclipse turbo parts on a d-series thought this might be of some help to some people

Re:a good how to!!

It might be good for some, but its not going to happen with $300 as advertised.
All it takes is honda tuning to say, "we're doing a budget boost project" and ---- starts getting donated for publicity, but that's just a free part that they don't have to buy.
---- the Media. >:(

Re:a good how to!!

Yeah, you can do it cheap, they just make it sound easier than it really is. They make it sound like they thought of it, then had it done in an hour or so. Look at how many shops they name, those plugs aren't free. Those plugs go towards thier "$100 turbo kit"
And just for the record, HCI used to be a good magazine. Now they suck so much nopi & apc cock that they don't have the time to make a good magazine. I have a friend that does adver. sales for them and he will even tell you that they suck nopi and apc's cock. They have the money, and as long as those stupid east coast kids buy l.e.d. exhaust tips.......... >:( Not trying to start a war, just calling it how I see it. ;)

Re:a good how to!!

300 bucks was my original budget, but that was damn near impossible considering the fact that i had to buy everything, because i didnt have it lying around. and when you add up all the little bolts, screws, nuts and washers and every little ---- you didnt have and had to go out and buy.. it starts to get expensive.

T3 turbo: 70
T3 manifold: 175
Downpipe: 25
Intercooler: 35
2gen BOV: 10
DSM 450cc: 55
SAFC: 200
Gauges: 100
oil lines: 20
misc: 32

Total: $722
