good or bad idea?..hydolic to cable tranny swap
i was driving my friends b16 del sol the other day and he has a cable tranny in it and my ls trans is hydrolic...i dont like the way i have to like wait for the clutch to ingage...i know its like a fraction of a second but when i was driving his car the clutch is much more responsive and i feel like im more in control while launchin and such...do you guys think there would be any benefit in selling my hydro trans and buying a cable?....installing and such is no big deal so dont worry about the installation factor.....some people just told me to use a steel braided line in replacement of the rubberish flex line...but i dont want to buy it and have it not do anything......

whats makes the cables trans weaker (other than age)?? i thought the 92-93 cables were the same inside(aside form gear ratios and a bearing) as the hydro ones. |
