gear swap?
 

Okay so I have all the parts for my ls build now I want to move on to the tranny. Any suggestions would help I have a stock ls tranny my question is can I use gear out of an si or gsr tranny? Should I go with a si or gsr tranny? This car will be mostly a quarter mile car so yah.

i personally LOVE the ITR/B16 tranny for all setups. :y specially in boost. but if your running a stock LS head, that ---- is gonna be gay. cuz even on 24.5 slicks, thats still like 112mph at the top of 4th with a stockish 7500rpm revlimit. stock LS gets you over 130mph. GSR 120mph...

rev it higher, get a couple more mph...


if you deside you wanna swap gears around, i have a B16A2 gear stack ill sell ya...

okay so after using the calculaot I will use the ls trans but with a 4.4 fd question is when changing the ring gear do I need to change the pinion also?

no, gear meshing isn't needed for fwd applications

TurboHf I can't find the thread you were asking about 1gen integra dseries trannys in so I'll just say it here. According to Bone and Fowee Bisi use's those tranny's because the have a support in the center of the imput and output shafts that keep them from flexing apart.
