gas guzzlin
so i just slaped in my b18c1 into my 92 hatch and this ---- is gas guzzlin like a ****. i havent hooked up the charcoal canister yet or any vacume at that, could this be the reason? im gettin like 6 miles to the gallon. im running a 99 motor with a 95 ecu. any help is much apprieciated. i cant go on with the "domestic guys" gas bill in these trying times!
you need to atleast attach the vacuum hose to the fuel pressure regulator. at wot there is not vac and it raises the fuel psi to 40psi (around there). But at idle and light throttle it has vac and lowers psi to around 28. so if you have no vac EVER on there it will always run 40psi causing it to be rich and use alot of fuel.
in short, HOOK THAT UP
good luck, let me/us know how that turned out.

thats funny plug wires.... After I got my custom exhuast mine guzzles about 10 mpg. I dunno what it is but Imma try a different exhaust... its 2.25" crush bent and I think the bends are too small for even a golf ball to fit through em.
