fuel rail question
I have a 93 Cx 8 valve piece of crap. im doing a mini me setup. and well.
i bought a Y8 Manifold. just wondering since it doesn't have a fuel rail or injectors.. is it possible to use the old fuel rail and injectors of the CX 8 vlave piece of ----? would the rail even mount up on the the fit in the Y8 mani?
just asking because i can save some money if i does fit

You might want to check the pistons also when you take the 8v head off. Not sure on the CX model (even though I have a junker 8v still sitting in my garage :1...too lazy to pull it apart) but some of the older 8v's didn't have the valve recesses in the pistons to allow clearance for 16v heads.

. BTW y8 intake mani makes piston number 3 run leaning!
so it's safe to say that any of the Y series fuel rails will fit the manifolds.
the CX hatchbacks models come wtih 4 valve piston relief valves used in the d15y7 engines as well even with the Engine code d15b8.
it's the HF model in the old CRX and counter part year civic. although the engine designation is was D15b8 only had 2 relief valves per piston in those early paticular years.
so im not worried about it not being able to swap as i am quite sure it'll work.
