i guess its an ef problem because numerous people have had problems.. we are using chris's pump which is awesome but i think most of the problem is the sock thats included is just a tad too short for the ef tank...

thats what i thought about doing but mine works and i have no problem keeping the tank above 1/4 tank an secondly im just too lazy to pull the tank back out again..

Pull it down but mark underneath where the pump assemby is on the floor and just cut that section out. It'll save from dropping the tank again. You can do it with the tank still on it. Just drill a couple holes and break out a tin snips or a even a jigsaw. Just don't drill too deep.
