tonoght on the ride home i noticed that right after i shifted into third gear my prms dorpped drastically.I shifted into 4th then into 5th and it went away. This isnt the first time it has happened but i didnt care to think about it. Normally when i downshift into neutral and keep the clutch in to take a slow turn (before i shift into 2nd) sometimes the RPMs drop below 1k. Also, when i ride at a high speed (80 mph) for a long period of time like 10 - 20 minutes the cut off starts to happen. The fuel gauge drops below e when this heppens sometimes to lthough i dont know if it happened every time cause i only saw it do it once. I this it might be a fuel filter, but seeing as how the gauge dropped i think it could also be a fuel pump.

 

Honestly, no one have any input on this?

 

i would have to say its some kind of electrical problem. check your fuses and all your grounds. 98ctr
