i swear its gotta be a linkage issue if you can lock it in reverse out of the car something is wrong with the linkage
is it hitting something?

Well it goes in just don't really feel like it goes in. Nothing is hitting the linkage I put it on stands and had my buddy put it in gear and it has plenty of room when I had the exhaust done I made sure it wasn't near it. It seems like it only pops out when u put pressure on it. U kind of think that's why it works out of the car bc all I'm doing outside the car is spinning it by hand u know. I have pulled the linkage off and tried shifting it that way and it still pops out

sounds like they put the reverse idler gear in backwards. does it go in gear if you keep pressure on the shifter by holding it in reverse? if it stays in reverse better when your holding the shifter, pull down the tranny and flip the reverse idler.

yes it does, the gear looked the sme on both sides,guess when i get a chance o will pull it out and try that lol, kind of a shity thing to do
