Default Flywheels....good or bad?

I currently replacing my b16 tranny and was wonderin if I should either leave the flywheel stock
and shave a few pounds off ov it? Or get a 8-10 pd flywheel??
I figured they defeat the purpose ov counter weight...wouldnt it take forever for revs to drop?
Will it effect the way my car drives with the turbo?

it will make the acceleration and decceleration of the crank faster. i have never driven with one so i cant comment on the second part

i have heard quite a few people say that they arent worth it on a street car though

for an all motor car its an issue that needs to be addressed. I have always ran lightened flywheel stuff in my cars but thats just my choice. In all reality for a typical b16a street turbo car you can spend your money in better places unless you can find one cheap. I like them but some people swear against them.

Dont run a flywheel. Their too heavy. OR get one of those MAD tyTe JAYDEEMMM hype-R flywheels that wheay negative -10 lbs and ammass their own gravity when VTAk kicks in yO!

Yeah they help but like chris said there are much better places to dump your hard earned $$$
