fixed the problem with my car.thanks for the help

Ok heres the deal.

The car idles perfect at 600 rpm and doesnt miss. When I run it hard it will cut out and come back on.It only does it for like a second.Only the motor seems to die not the whole car. Also sometimes when I come to a stop it will just die.It comes right back on though.Im not getting a CEL so I think its something mecahnical not a sensor.I checked that vacume system and everything is working fine.Anny help?

Here is the set up 95 civic with d116z6.
Crane Ignition
AEM cam gear
B&M FPR.AEM fuel rail
Fields AFC
Overboared throttle boady

Theres more but I dont think the KYB shocks header or exhoust is the problem :P

you should check you ecu codes anyways, some sensors will not make your cel come on, but will show the code if you check them..........

Re:Problem with my car...anny help?

Thanks for the input guys.

the ground system is solid.I made my own grounk kit so it comed directly from the battery to 5 points in the engine bay.
The cam gear is retarted 2.5 degrees and timing is set at 17 degrees. Its verry weird couse it doesnt do it all the time.I just noticed that idle kinda jumps between 600 and 500.

The Crane High6 ticks at every ignition point(sounds really cool 8) ) but it makes a weird noise when the car shuts off.I e-mailed Crane Cams and they told me that the High 6 will eather work or not. They said they have never heard of it cousing anny problems like that so I dont think thats it.

Get rid of the Crane man... unless you're runn over 15lbs of boost, or your ignition system is really shitty, that aint helpin. Also, USE THE STOCK GROUNDING POINTS. It has been proven when you put grounds to some pointson the engine, you LOOSE power (i forgot where they where, but I know around the throttle body is one.) Anyways, I put my money on it being the crappy crane...

No.Its not the crane. Its been running for 7 years and like I said before the coil just went out and i replaced it.

I pulled the plugs and they had opened up to almost 2mm.I regapped them and it seems to have helped. For some reason that has been happening lateley.I think Im gonna go with a cooler plug.thanks guys ;D

What is the fuel pressure at? What about the settings on the AFC? Too much fuel maybe? Loose connection with the ignition? Do you know of a good electrician who can look at the wiring for you? ;)
