First day of my first swap.
 

Doubt anyone gives a rat's ass since it's not turboed yet but, here it is.

Decided to go ahead and do my B17 swap this weekend as a Xmas present to myself. We atarted around 6 and had the engine on the floor by 9. Not too bad considering the leisurely(sp) pace. Thankfully my neighbor is letting me use his garage for the swap. Working on a solid 25-35 degree incline gets pretty old real fast, especialy in the cold.

Yes I have. Pretty neat idea. Why not just use a stock manifold to start with? I now have 2 of those bastards sitting around.

And a question for anyone who wants to answer. Will the OBD1 B series alternator work with the OBD 0 harness?

I want to measure twice and fab once, not measure four times and fab twice.

OBD0 and OBD1 harnesses use the same four prong alternator plug, for all intents they are the same alternator. OBD2 has a different four prong plug, but work fine if you wire said plug in.

If you try to swap pulleys you may or may not have luck with it as OBD0 B-series alternator shafts varied in diameters, but the alternators as a whole unit are interchangeable with all other B-series engines. But, you don't care, and I digress. :P
