F23/H23 hybrid running stock H23 ecu?

My H23 bottom end is going to ---- now and I want to boost later on, so I'm thinking about replacing it with the F23 bottom end from the 98-02 accord.

According to the information I've found I'll have compression around 9:1, but I want to mill the head and deck the block a little bit to bring that up to around 9.4:1. (stock H23 is 9.8:1)

The accord block is iron sleeved and better suited for boost than the FRM sleeved H23 bottom end.

The H23 block is 87mm bore 95mm stroke, while the accord F23 block is 86mm bore 97mm stroke.

What I'm wondering is how well do you guys think that the factory H23 P14 ecu would run the hybrid setup? I don't plan on boosting for nearly 5 months after I get this all back together, and I don't want to waste the money to dyno or tune the NA setup.

Would it be a close enough match to drive daily and for long trips (500+ miles), or do you guys think it'd be quite a ways off?

The overall displacement is similar, but the stroke would be longer, and the compression slightly lower

It'll run fine as long as you install a knock sensor.

Get a chipped p06 and tune it.
