get the sohc, its cheaper, and easier to find parts for.

dont be fooled by the comon statement that theres no good aftermarket parts for the zc alost any d series parts will work for a zc and in my opinion the zc is a better engine.

Re:Engine Swap

but there's only like a 10 horse power difference between them, right now i can get a 1.6 sohc vtec for 200 bux cuz a buddy can hook me up cuz he works at a junkyard. i mean why spend 850 bux for a zc that's like 130 hp when i can get a d16z6 for 200 and buy pistons rings and rods to make up for the 10 hp?

you know i really dont care what you buy i mean its your car your money buy what ever you want i think your probly big enough to make the choice your self. I was just stating that a zc isnt to hard to get parts for.

Re:Engine Swap

Its simple, the ZC has more power, but the z6 does have more "aftermarket support" especially for head parts, cams/springs/valves. Even piston selection.

I would choose ZC.
