engine hoist lift points

Default engine hoist lift points

yeah... first time doing this, where the hell do i hook up the chains to pull the engine out of the integra? what points do you guys use? i see one on the back of the head? and then the helms points to who knows where in the front of the engine.bah, help? pics would kick ***

there should be holes threaded on the block, you can either run a bolt in there and chain to that.. or chain to the exhaust manifold, and to that point behind the head.. should be fine.

taking info from crxmatt2=failure
behind the head there is an empty hole on the drivers side 14mm
power steering hole in front 14mm
on the tranny there is a golden hook where you can pass a bolt and nit through
download the manual

see in your picture, i see no threaded hole there on the ls block.

the random hole is one of them
take out a ps bolt and put it back with the chain attached
the last one is not on the engine but on the tranny itself, look at his pic next to the black cap thing, there is a golden hook

i used a exhaust stud for one of mine. just whatever you can find. it shouldn't really matter, but keep an eye on all the sensors and ----, i fucked up a coolant temp one last motor i pulled

ohh and a load leveler helps tons

ok the engines been out for a week now, i havent had time to do ----. so once i get the tranny off, what bolts do i hook up to move the engine around, and get it on to the stand?? :1
