What year car is that b16a in? That's an obd2 code, the engine ID you stated is an obd0 motor...something doesn't add up here. And normally the evap line goes to the top of the throttle body...plus on obd0 b16a equipped cars the purge solenoid is located on the firewall, not on the motor. Give us some more details here... :P

I have a 2000 Si with a B16A motor it use to be obd1 but the guy that had it before me change it to obd2 to pass state inspection. He left the paper from the shop where it say that it was converted back to obd2, it also was stated the they fixed the harness wires. The computer in my car says p2t. i have pics if you want to see. As far as the purge solenoid i guess he decided not to put it back on.

Well the good news is you have the right computer. So i'm assuming the canister isnt' connected to the engine, but the canister is connected to the large line that goes back to the fuel tank correct? I'm wondering if your gas is essentially evaporating. Get the evap hooked up properly and see if the code goes away after a few trips, if not, then reset the computer and see if it clears. Then watch your gas mileage.
