ELD again?

on my old 96 coupe when i used a obd1 ecu, i had this problem i never figured out, after replaceing the altenator and checking wires i finally gave up and figured its just a side effect of obd conversion

now - i have a 96 civic again with a ls motor and i havent even put my obd1 ecu in and it just started doing the same ----. so anoying, lights are dim at idle and low speeds and then at higher rpms/speed like a switch my lights get a littlle brighter, and shorty after slowing down or comming to a stop it goes back to dim, its not like car dying dim but noticable

any ideas? this happened the day after i put power steering back in the car

Re: ELD again?

Hook your grounds back up. The reason your car is doing this is because the current can't get back to the positive good enough. Too much resistance. If you want you can add even more ground wires to your car. My car did the same thing when I did some ---- to may car and found that I forgot to hook up my ground on my valve cover. If you add more than is needed sometimes you car will run better.
