ek swap help
 
i have a 97 civic hatch back ek and i want to swap a b18b1 engine with a hydro tranny what mount do i need ?
i heard that a 99 si driver side bracket is needed and rear t bracket from 99 si and b series front tranny bracket is also needed but if i buy a mount kit from avid or any other company do i still need the bracket from 99 si ? thank you

you have to have the 99si rear bracket.. you could buy avids or just use a stock mount combo but you need the 99si rear bracket.. i think you may also need the si throttle cable aswell

but either way i still have to get all the bracket or just the rear one if i use hasport mount

You would still need the drivers side bracket and rear T bracket. If your making any real power be ready for a broken drivers side mount. I would upgrade at least the drivers side mount but the other two are up to you.
