EGAY boost gauge question, lol wut?
okay so i got a 'type-r' boost gauge on ebay for cheap - lol - and the only problem is that when the boost line is getting atmosphere pressure, its reading -2 psi... this wouldnt have anything to do with me not being at sea level? also, my girlfriends VW 1.8t has a stock boost of 8.7psi and we tested and it got up to 12 psi, thats a change of 14 psi!! wayyy off of what its suppose to be, what can be done to callibrate? or if nothing can be done, how reliable is this...? is the out of synch boost reading proportional? or linear? <- for the math-types.... :D thanks

Thats y you try to stay away from ebay special parts. Ebay is good to find used good quality, and i guess the intercoolers are decent. Also the cast iron log turbo manifolds are good, other than that Id be careful.
