EG Rear Sway Bars

What brand and size rear sway bars do you guys run on your honda 92-95 hatches. Any prefrences/experiencs you want to share are welcome.

I'm thinking about the cheap-o 19mm ST rear sway bar from Summit, or the Mfactory 19mm rear sway bar with the reinforcement plate or whatever it is. I'm aware of the problem with ripping out the rear cross member, so if I got the ST I'd fab something up with plate and weld that up to make it stiffer where it would mount to the car.

I went to their website, but couldn't find anything to fit the EGs. Guess I'm retarded or something.

How much did that run you? I like the extra 3mm.

Comptech is out of business or someshit... and im pretty sure its actually for an Integra...same thing... but Civics dont have mounts on the LCAs for the swaybar... i have teggy LCAs...

how much it run? nothin. i found it... :-* i got it on a car i got on trade and parted out... along with other ----... and honestly i probably wouldnt have bought it either...maybe i would? R*Crew is selling knockoffs now that look pretty damn close, and in more homo ass colors to satisfy the HT crowd.

I rock a stock teggy
seams to do the trick as for the ripping i used a 1 inch washer on the inside and the bracket on the out side to ------ out the force.
dont forget the lock washer

Atticus, do you have stock EG LCAs on the rear, or did you swap them too? If you have the stock ones, what did you do for attaching the bar to the LCA?

some civic lcas have them. obviously one's with stock rear swaybars.
you can also drill and tap into the regular lcas.

Thanks for the tip, that is what I'll probably end up doing.

I have a 95 civic coupe with BLOX rear lower control arms and I used an integra rear sway. I got all the hardware off the integra and most egs have the treaded holes there already

Re: EG Rear Sway Bars

I'm going to have to check the CX to see if they have them. If not, maybe the rear LCAs I pulled off an 94 SI might. I also have a decnet set of drill bits and a great set of taps. I'd rather pay less and fab/problem solve some stuff myself.
