I can just put my match Fly combo and tranny on a b7 right?

I had kinda the same question. I bought an z6 clutch/flywheel from a buddy and put it on my a6. Havent tryed to put the starter on yet, is it gonna fit?

The flywheel/pressure plate needs to be matched together, however the clutch splines can vary. The 88 trans had a oddball spline count. But yes you can swap flywheels from any D15/D16.

cool, the tranny flywheel/pressureplate and clutch are all from a 89.
Thanks for the info on the 88 clutch. I always wondered exactly how that went.
