ecu help?

im buying a d15b sohc vtec tomorow but im confused with the ecu ill need. ok, my friend bought a d15 from this guy already but he he put it in his 91 dx hatcback. so he bought the po8 to go with it. but i have a 94 ex with a p28 that supposedly works with the d15b(or so people on here have said). well, my friend said i need the po8 because of the o2 sensor. and when i called the guy about the motor he also said i need the po8 becuase of the o2 sensor. but in one of my other threads people say the opposite of my friend and the motor guy. so what i am asking is, from someone who knows for sure. will i need the po8 so i dont have to buy a new o2 sensor or keep the p28 and not have any problems with o2 sensor??

Why can't you use the O2 sensor you have?

Re:ecu help?

Well go look at your car and see if the manifold has a one wire or 4 wire o2 sensor.

Re:ecu help?

jdm d15b comes with a one wire o2. Put your 4 wire o2 from your usdm d16z6 in the exhaust manifold and your done. That simple oh and I have done this numerous times and you dont need anymore info then that.
