Which is easier when installing a obd0 b16 into obd1 hatch

I have an obd0 b16 from an xsi. I also have an obd1 vtec factory d series harness. Should i use that or should I use the 94 cx 1.5 non vtec harness that is in the car now and add the vtec wiring? I know that probably both would work but if someone else has some experience with which would likely cause less problems.

use the VTEC one, it will save you from having to do any wiring. and yes it will work. infact you can use any OBD1 Civic harness or 94-01 Integra harness... i have a OBD2-P72 harness in my 93 CX... ;)

Yup...I used a stock d15b harness and plugged it right in at the shock tower...worked perfect. Just double check to see if all the o2 sensor wires are in the harness coming from the ecu side...I had to add 2 wires from the ecu to the shock tower on my friend's 95cx (since cx's only use a 1-wire o2 sensor instead of the standard 4-wire obd1 unit).

umm... i check the little boxes next to the works "disable O2 sensor" and "disable O2 heater"... works pretty pimp :y

then you zip tie all those "extra" plus to the harness somewhere so they arent seen... 8)

Thanks - I will try it first with the vtec factory harness.
