DX vs EX tranny.

DX vs EX tranny.
Im picking up a 95 dx and I already have plans of picking up a d16z6. should I also look for the tranny or would the dx be fine. I know the gears are shorter on the ex. Anyone wappy with the ex engine dx tranny setup?

the rumor of longer gears=faster is about has wrong has people caring about anne nicole smiths death. A typical turbo d is gonna make 200 whp and in the 165-190 tq range
Im sorry thats all motor b20/vtec range. Would you recommend a ls trans vs an itr tarns for the b20 of course not.
Longer gearing is only needed for cars making 450+ whp and even then people vary depending on slick size.

only time where a DX is acceptable IMO is with cable trannys. the SI and DX have the same gearing, but the final drive on the SI is just a touch shorter. and its not even that much different. i ran both and liked each.
