DX Harness on SI Distributor
 
well i still need to finish up some dudes swap and no one really gave me a clear answer other than use the SI harness... Well i need someone whose done this to let me know the pinout/conversion, like what color wire on the DX harness goes to what color wire on the SI distributor, becuase im going to depin the DX dizzy connector and repin it to the SI dsitributor.... and theres 2 wires left over, wich ones are they and do they go to C1 & C2

there used to be some article online specifically for the distributor... ive searched but cant find it anymore... maybe it doesnt exist but if someone could help out with this that would be awesome

i read that article... it helped but it failed to mention how to wire up the distributor....

do i need to use the SI one as ive been informed... or will the DX one work???? because i already swapped everything over.... and tried cranking the bitch but it wouldnt start.....

im pretty sure u need the si distributor...and c1 and c2 are cylinder postion sensor...isnt that in the distributor correct me if i am wrong...

Yup, you just match the same color wires up to the Si distributor and then you'll have a Blue and a Black wire left over (If I remember right). Those two get pinned to the ecu. Be caureful when your repinning the wires on the distributor by matching the color though, there are two white wires that look similar but if you look close at them, one white wire is thicker than the other. If you accidentally reverse them, you won't get any ignition pulse.
