can you inter change heads with a d16y5 and a zc? i dont think so, but i was just wondering.

NO, the zc is dual cam, just wondering if you've ever seen these two heads???

i have never seen a zc head, well i have in pictures but not compared to a d16 head.

well like i said, it's dual cam and all other d series are single cam. the zc looks just like the b18a/b (integra ls engine)

you can put a zc head on a single cam block....as far as i know you just need minor machine work to the head

would it benifit having a zc head in a sohc block? and how hard would it be do do this

i would think the zc would flow better, but i have no idea on specifics to put it on

Minor my ass... 2 head bolts dont align, water jackets dont align, and a few other things.. Not to mention you would have a incredibly low compresson if that head was used w/ a6 pistons

theres a guy by me putting a zc head on a y7 block and said it wasnt that bad....i took his word for it, oh well
