dsm injector wiring problem with 10 ohm resistors

well, i put my dsm 450's in my 94 civic tonight.....i used 10ohm resistors, not the box, and what i did to try to find out which ones were the injector wires, and which ones were coming from the ecu was i took off all the injector plugs, and took a peice of wire, stuck it in the yellow and black socket of the plug, and hooked the other end to the battery, then went up to the dead end connector and found which one had power without the key on, well, i did that for all 4 and found which ones they were, then there was only one wire other than those 4 that came up hot wen the key was on, but i didnt do anything with it, well, once i soldered the resistors in the wires for the injectors, i started it up, well, heres my problem, it shakes and sputters.......what is going on??? did i do the wrong wires? injectors bad? i have a stock fuel pressure regulator....would that be it? or would i need to get an aftermarket one and turn it up all the way......please help!!

why were you testing the injector wires?...cut the ones that are black with a yellow stripe

so you installed the 450s in and the car is sputtering.
is your car set to run those yet? are you n/a or turbo. what fuel management. ???

first of all i think i know why it is sputtering...do you have any other kind of modifications done to the car? i think you are sending WAY too much fuel. And because it is sputtering, your timing is probably way off...are you smoking a lot too? you are probably really retarted from "TDC" (Top Dead Center for all of you noobs).

Re:dsm injector wiring problem with 10 ohm resistors

1. because i wasnt sure which of the 8 yellow/black wires in that dead end box were the 4 i needed, i wanted to be sure.
2. im turbod, IHI rhb5 running 7 psi
3. i was kind of thinking i was running rich after i thought about it....i know this is a stupid cheap ass question, but with my budget ill do anything until i can get an air fuel controller........is there anything napa or autozone or anywhere that carries something to lean it out a bit.....not sure what to do, maybe im over anxious but ive been driving my car for a few days now on stock injectors and was getting worried......thanks for the help so far!

search for the trailer park ftb hack...uses resistors or some ----. anyway, there should only be 4 black and yellow wires

yah, i found that trailor park thing, thats definetly what im going to try to attempt......thanks for the help

Jeff ran auto dsm's w/ no management on this set up,read the last page. This would be the cheapest thing to do is get a regulator 50 bucks it will help out a little but look into gettin uberdata

Where did you wire the resistors in?

When I wired my friends car I put 4 resistors right above the injector clips on the 4 yellow black wires. After all the turbo stuff was on it started and ran just fine. Behold the power of solder and shrink tubing :P

ok, you got 8 wires in that dead end connector, 4 in, 4 out, does it matter which four out of the 4 in or out, that you wire the resistors into???
