dsm injector install help!!
Ok so here is the problem I just installed some dsm 390s in my ls/vtec today went out got the 10watt/10 ohms resistors and wired them in along with switching from obd2 clips to obd1 clips to make things easier. anyways now the car won't start or even fire off. can't really smell gas on anything any ideas I am kinda stumped already checked to make sure that the clips were on all the way and they are good and I did soder the wires and resistors everthing was sodered in. HELP!

i had the same exact problems when i did my brothers car. ended up taking it to a shop to get it done. i'm still not sure what was wrong cause he did the same thing i did and he even sadi that i did it correctly.

yes it does spark and does crank i have a 97 civic with a 96 ex wiring harness with a obd 1 conversion and a chipped p28 with a vafc I pulled the rail and injectors and they didn't shot any not a drop. plenty of fuel pressurebecause it sparyed me in the eyes when I pulled one injector out. One resistor got so hot that it melted the eletrical tape on it ,I didn't think they were supposed to even get hot at all any ideas guys I am stumped once again I matched all the wires on the obd 1 clips, they were off a 93 teg. what could I be doing wrong ran fine before this so it must have something to do with the injectors is there a particular way that the resistors have to face?

What exactly did u do to the "clip"?
Did you just replace them one by one? You do know all you need to do is to change the connector right?
One resistor goes to One of the wire Per injector.
do it right on top of the injector if your not sure where to put them.

I just cut the old clips for each injector off one at a time and replaced them with 93 teg clips and I did wired the whole thing up just like it shows here on hmt in the tech projects one resistor per injector could they be backwards? flowing current the wrong way? is there any saturated dsm injectors these are a390's if that helps at all

don't think I screwed up crap but I am gonna go check it all this weekend with a ohms tester and check the wiring hope works any other ideas
would one bad resistor mess up the whole system or could it fry the rest of them or my ecu?

id say ONE wouldnt stop the car from starting.
the resistors should be on like this..
1 resistor per injector.
each injector has a same coloured wire (yellow / blk stripe?).
the resistors should be on that wire.
