Re: drag turbo kit
of course people have used them.. but your most likely not gonna find anyone on here using one.
i meen if your not that great with fabricating your own goods for your own home made kit then it might be a good idea for you to get the kit. but i'm gonna tell you right now your gonna get better quality parts, more knowledge/better understanding, your exact goals and save money doing it yourself. just search around a lot, do your homework.. you'll be able to through your own home made kit together in no time... just takes a lot of research ;) |
Re: drag turbo kit
if you dont want to buy tools or learn welding and some basic mechanical skills the drag would be a good choice

Re: drag turbo kit
i have a drag kit on my d16z6 the only thing that sucks about it is it comes with a ---- fuel setup the only thing i could say to you is that yes drag is a good kit but you have to be willing to spend a extral on a good fuel setup depending on the setup will come with the price. Your stock injectors will hold about 7 pounds on this kit and thats about it but its a good kit the only other kit i would compare to it for a d series is a peak boost kit whick comes with a better mainfold and a new fan and like drag no fuel setup really. both kits i think use the same turbos. the turbo is decent size maybe alil big ive seen alot maller on alot bigger motors then mine so all together its a good kit if your willing to ditch there fuel system they give you and buy a good fuel setup all together i like my kit.
