DPFI to MPFI car wont start, HELP
Parts i use
92-95 intake mani w/inyectors and clips 92-95 dizzy PR3 ecu - First i do all the TPS, and other plugs work then - Join 4 ground (Yel/blk) from the MPFI inyector clips with the 2 ground (Yel/blk) from the DPFI - Match DPFI red with MPFI red and DPFI yellow with MPFI yellow from the inyectors. - Connect the brown wire from the MPFI inyectors to A1 - Connect the blue wire from the MPFI inyectors to A3. - I move pin C1(orange) over to pin B10, and move the wire from pin C2(white) over to pin B12 in the ECU - Run wires from pins C1 (blu/grn) and C2(blu/yel) into the engine compartment and match them with same colors in the dizzy plug - Match colors from the dizzy plug with OBD0 dizzy harnes wires Conclusion, CAR WONT START ??? What i am doing wrong? |
Re: DPFI to MPFI car wont start, HELP
What's it not doing? No spark? No fuel? ECU error codes? Check engine light? [sarcasm]Battery dead? Starter dead?[/sarcasm] A friend and I had similar problem when we did a DPFI to MPFI. We couldn't get the bitch to idle correctly. It was rough getting it to start also.

Re: DPFI to MPFI car wont start, HELP
So you're trying to use an obd0 pr3 ecu matched to an obd1 dizzy? No wonder it won't start. :P At least please tell me I'm wrong and it's an obd1 pr3. :3

Re: DPFI to MPFI car wont start, HELP
why not use an obd1 dizzy? and make sure your grounds are good. i did my first swap by myself and forgot about a ground and it turned out to be the problem.
