DPFI Dizzy on MPFI engine.
Yeah I search and couldnt find anything. ;D
I am swaping my little sisters car over to MPFI. I dont have a d16a6 dizzy and was wondering if you could use the d15b2 dizzy. I have always just used the d16a6 dizzy with my DPFI to MPFI swaps. I have saw some people say yes and some say no. But I would wondering what you guys think? |

Totally different wont work

Re:DPFI Dizzy on MPFI engine.
The plug are different and not enough wires in the plug to make it work.

Re:DPFI Dizzy on MPFI engine.
DPFI dizzy misses a cyl sensor or it was a crank angle sensor...
It misses one of those |
Re:DPFI Dizzy on MPFI engine.
There is a way to do it, but it's kinda pointless. I had to do this to my crx last year so i could get back and forth to work. What it ends up being though is you hafta use the dpfi ecu on the mpfi motor. You actually end up hooking 2 injectors together and batch firing them. Trust me, runs like ass, and is more of a pain to switch back once you've screwed with it.

Re: DPFI Dizzy on MPFI engine.
has anyone used the integra ecu (pg7 Ithink) I have the ecu but I was looking at the ecu pinouts an the 88-89 teg ecu has different pinouts for the injectors but everyone I talk to says the si ecu an the teg ecu are just plug an play, how is this possible? Thanks for any info
