I finally fixed my car after 4 months of cooling down at high rpm. I put in two o'rielly t-stats and both of them would cool down at high rpm. So I went to the Honda Dealership and bought one and the car runs perfect. The people at the dealer said those ato store t-stats are peices of crap and they where right. Also the honda one ways about twice the amount and just looks better built.

Stant brand tstats have always worked great for me.

same thing happened to me, had an autozone stat and it was brand new, but it would cool down at high rpms, so i got a honda one and i havent had a problem since

 

every in/on my crx is Honda Genuine ONLY.

 

170 F Autozone Tstat for 4+ years, never a issue.

 

they have a better version aviable called a superstat i think. it cost a few more dollars.

 

never gone wrong with using napa's house brand, or the vatozone ones.
