does lack of oil pressure...
kill the injectors on OBD0??
|
Re: does lack of oil pressure...
No
how? |
Re: does lack of oil pressure...
through the sensor, lots of newer cars do it
im getting a no start and im just brainstorming |
Re: does lack of oil pressure...
hmm, I've never seen a brand new car do that?
But to answer your question.. No Your problem is elsewhere, do you have voltage at the injectors? have you tried a Noid light to see if the ecu is pulsing a ground? |
Re: does lack of oil pressure...
i havent checked anything really
i verified spark then called it a night, i do have fuel through the filter as there was a small leakthere 91 crx si Z6 with A6 intake, Z6 distributor with RYWIRE jumper harness still running OBD0 til i do the wiring but i want to get it running first the coolant temp sensor on the lower radiator hose inlet isnt hooked up but everything else is it stumbles for the first couple seconds of cranking and stumbles off ether so im pretty sure its a fuel issue more diagnonsis is in order |
Re: does lack of oil pressure...
z6 dist doesnt work with obd-0
|
Re: does lack of oil pressure...
sorry man, im just not seeing the connection between lack of oil and dead injectors. omg wait i just spun my injector bearing!!!!
|
Re: does lack of oil pressure...
i get an injector ground pulse for about 2 seconds of cranking then it stops
i guess ill do the rest of the wiring and toss in the p28 |

Re: does lack of oil pressure...
so i guess the Z6 dist wont wirk with OBD0 huh
|
Re: does lack of oil pressure...
no, not unless you rewire it(which I've done a couple of times with Dizzy's). But too the bolt pattern may not line up with the head
|
Re: does lack of oil pressure...
it runs
|
Re: does lack of oil pressure...
Even if you rewire it, sure you can get it to run, however the tooth count for obd0 and obd1 for injector firing is different, I think the difference is a 17 vs a 21, so it will never run right reguardless.
