GSR is different from B16. B16 and Type R are the same.

If you want to see the difference in person bring a b16a gasket and set it on the gsr flange. Reality will set in

well the guy from hp racing said the only thing that would be different was two bolt holes would have to be oblonged thats all, i dunno

well its alot more than but go with what you want to think. There is ahuge differences not just a quickie job not to mention port design that once you get it one needs to be reworked to match the head.

There is a reason that companies seperate the b series motors for manifolds that dont bolt onto each other without major mods. Like I said go buy a gasket for 10 bucks and lay againist the opposite of what you have and see but if you want to believe what you want to believe buy it and complain when you get it how cant get it on

Oh and from someone who has a mod a few I know and why I dont do it anymore. People use to do this because back in the late 90's there was no aftermarket manifolds for the gsr manifold unless you did a custom sheetmetal so you would do the itr manifold modded to fit the gsr head.

Most shops charged 150 labor to get everything lined up right to get it actually work properly and port match.

Now if this isnt enough info for you to swalllow go buy some stock manifolds and compare port entry and bolt patterns etc and come back with a conclusion on that is educated.

This thread is done. You have 4 people here who know whats up and you doubt all of us.
