no, 88's DONT have different hubs.. all HF's and STD models have diff hubs. so yes, they fit.
dx/si axles are the same, 88-91 years.
std/hf axles fit 88-91 hf/std cars
ALL these axles interchange on the tranny side, only the hub side is different.
