has anyone ever heard of someone rasing the teck higth on a Honda to get a longer rod in them.

yup.. they weld deck plates on, and they can use longer rods.. I think it was in B18a/b's and it was mainly for drag racing.. cant remember who is doing it.. maybe crower..
