jsut checking for a friend wanted to know if any of the d series vtec heads fit on the d17.....i thought that they did but just wanted to make sure....and yes i know I should have searched but i'm writing this with 5 min before I have to go back to work...thanks for any input

alright since no one has said anything and I have had sometime to search....it looks like that it can't be done...which is fine with me cause I've trying to talk him into turboing it anyway.....d17 hondas bastard child

D17 crank rods and pistons can be massaged into D16, though.

Or you can run the D17/VTEC head... think that's D17A2 head, not up to speed on 7G Civic so don't quote me, out of the EX.
