I might sound like an idiot asking "why my gf's coupe don't start" but damm everything seems fine but it doens't star... she was driving it on the free way and it just die...

so i checked it and it didn't have spark, i changed the distribitor and now it's got spark.. (still won't start) fireing order is good too lol.
so i checked fuel pump it does turn on i can hear it (plus gas is getting to the fuel filter)
injectors due open since i can hear em, plus when i checked the compression i can smell the fuel coming out of the cylinders and see it on the bottom of the tester, compresion was 150, 150, 135,140.


i took the timing belt cover off and checked the timing it looks perfect. and last thing i did was looked in the ecu and it looks good, it doesn't thorw any codes and it doesn't even sound if it want's to start... so what can it be? ---- honda's are so easy to work on but this one is being a pain in my ***!
what else can it be? motor? lol i mean what else to start from timing, gas, spark, and compresion?

i did... i was thinking, could it be that i used the guts of a obd2 dizzy? and changed the plugs? butt now it has spark.. so yeah it's freaking weird.. anyone help? please?!

 

How was your G/F driving the car when this happend? Check all the sensors and the plugs that go to them. I had a similler problem and it turned out it was my ecu.

 

How are you sure its getting spark? You say its getting fuel and spark, but fuel and spark will make the engine run. lol

 

she was just driving like a girl would drive, slow and running red lights.... MmMmM i checked all the plugs and im gonna be so **** when i find out what it is.. and i opened the Ecu, and it looks good i also check on the plugs A of the ecu and it's sending power to the injectors... so yeah i need some good help.
does the dizzy sends any kind of signal back? besides Rpm's?

 

well before it didn't have spark, i checked it like 2 times and no spark.. so i asked a friend for a dizzy and he gave me a obd2 dizzy from a prelude i beleive it was... so i took all the guts of the dizzy, and put em in the obd1 dizzy since the shell of the prelude dizzy is not the same has the one of the z6.... and now it's got good spark my friend got shocked 2 times and i checked it with the spark plug in spark plug wire and seen the spark on all 4 cylinders..
so im not sure what to check now... :

 

I dont think ur supposed to swap internals from the obd2 dizzy into the obd1 and expect it to work, but i'm no distributor expert maybe it will work. Even if you have spark it doesnt mean its at the right time.

 

well cause all the wires matched, (same colors)... and now it's got spark, but it stilll won't start lol...
