D16z6 Ign Coil Test

Well I wasnt sure if my coil was bad so i did the test described on www.jdmlyfestyle.com I wasnt sure if it was for a B series or D series engine only or is it for both. So here are my results :

My primary winding resistance is 0.0 ohm (supposed to be 0.6-0.8 ohm)
My secondary is 18.5 kohm (supposed to be 12.5-19k ohm)

Wasnt sure if the temperature supposely affect the OHM. Help?! Thanks.

primary is when you put the the multimeter positive red on the + and the negative black on the -

no resistance = dead short, thus its fried

so that test is good for D series too? And does temperature affect the OHM?

copper (hopefully is what they're made out of) doesnt really change electrical properties, ie why they use it for everything.

if you get no ohms of resistance then it doesnt matter what youre testing... unless 0ohm is in the range.

0 = bad, think of it as oil pressure
