Default d16z mini-me

i'm thinking about doing a mini-me project. i need info on this project like cost, c/r, modification to head and block. any info would really help me. thanx

If the z6/y8 is going on a DX you will need to use a VX timing belt. If going on a D16a6/y7 etc. you can use the stock belt.

You will need to remove the oil oriface jet on the face of the deck located between cylinders 2 and 3 (intake side) just pops out.

I recommend using a 92-95 z6 factory metal head gasket.

Cost can range from 150-300 bucks
c/r is 10.8 a6/z6 combo, and a bit more with the y8 head.

Fuel management depeneds on what car this is going into.

what? you got them mixed up, or I am reading them the wrong way.

they have about a ---- hair worth of difference..

But then again, I have never used the y8 head on any of them.
