d16y8 in my 92 si hatch?
im getting a complete d16y8 swap, axles ecu everything, what would i have to do for it to fit in my 92 si hatch, i already have a running d16z6 in there but it has quite a bit of miles on er (although she still comp tested 175 175 175 150-160) i dont think she'll take boost for long. what do i need to swap over and change so it'll fit on my car? thanks

Re:d16y8 in my 92 si hatch?
-convert the engine to obd1 then swap.if you wanna swap the entire engine
-but i would just swap blocks, pull the Z6 block out and rebuild it, and throw it back in there. |
Re:d16y8 in my 92 si hatch?
I have done 3 swaps in the last year on the y7/y8 blocks becasue of spun bearings motors all were in the 100k range, I dont like those oil pumps in those things. I would just get a sohc vtec motor from a jdm importer Soken in the LA area is where I go. Great pricing best I have ever seen and the best motors.
