Default d16a6 block/head w/ obd-1 dist!?

Is there any obd1 dist that fits a a6 head w/o modification? i heard the 92-95 dx dist might? anyone have FACTS ?

One person on Honda-tech said the 92-95 DX/lx/CX dists will fit perfectly on the a6 head.

no you can't genius.

obd-0 and obd-1 dizzy's have different number of teeth on the CYP sensor.

and i plan do have no hacked dist's on my car. tyvm.

depends on the ecu being used.

dist and ecu have to match.

obd-1 dist w/ obd-1 ecu on an a6 head works.

obd-1 dist w/ obd-0 ecu on an a6 head wont work. ecu will see a messed up timing.

The ECU and dizzy have to match. I have an A6 head on my D15b7 running a P06 with an OBD1 dizzy...

ya the only dist that PHYSICALLY is impared is the z6 dist.

electronically. ALL obd-0 Dists are different from obd1+ dists.

A6/B2/B7 have the same head castings, so yes the obd1 dx distributor will work on the obd0 a6.

Like mike said, the only real oddball is the z6 dizzy.
