d16a1 in 95 cx? What do you think
You can get the D16A1 bolted to the later D-trans by four of the bolts... no promise that it's perfect alignment. You probably have to run the 'A1 flywheel, I believe the block is a hair narrower than later D-series. Good luck finding a starter to fit.
Hey, if those A-series Accords have the same bellhousing as B-series (I'm faintly suspicious they might) then you can probably finagle a B-series real cheaply into an 84-87 Civic/CRX by using Accord bellhousing/front casing on the A1 unit... because they are practically the same thing. No promise of how the B-engine clears the framerail, or correct positioning in re oil pickup tube...

I mated a d16a1 to a dx trans. Had to tap a bolt for the starter. Didnt line up. Worked out a few more probs and 100miles later it came apart. I never found out why, but I know it will not work.
i put one of those in a 91 crxsi once. i bolted it up to the si tranny and used the si flywheel. i had to do some slight modifying to the tranny and engine but it was pretty simple in the end. i als ohad to make a driverside engine mount. i did it all in a day though. its not really worth the trouble as a bolt in upgrade.
