Default d16a1

Hey i was wondering if a d16a1 could mount into a del sol with out much trouble. or should i just use the head and a another block. i have a totla of 5 D series engines for me to play around with but i really want to stick with dohc and turbocharge it.which is the best block to use for turbo charguing liek the structure cause i was told the d16a1 block has better oiling system or some ---- like that ? anyway i have a 99' d16y8, 93' d16z6, 2 95'd15b7 and a d16a1. well thanks.

The A1 will not fit in the 5g civic/del sol chasis, It wont even fit in a crx, It has very odd mounting locations, and the bolt pattern for the bell housing will not fit your tranny. This engine is mainly used for 1g Crx swaps. You are better off using the D16y8 or Z6 engine.

And no, you cannot use the A1 head on Any of the single cam blocks. It simply does not fit.
