D16 Vtec into an EG D15 hatch

Default D16 Vtec into an EG D15 hatch

Is the D16 a direct swap for the D15 cause ive been lookin around online and i see theres way more parts for the D16 Vtec?

Yes the d16 is technically a direct bolt in swap. If you are going to run a z6 or y8 d16 the only thing needed is to wire vtec to the ecu. Basic drop in swap though. You can use your motor mounts axles and tranny from your d15. If you swap a vtec sohc in also recommend p28 ecu to run it.

yea my D15 is a vtec i just didnt know if the D16 was a direct drop in for it....where can i find a P28 ecu? And since im already vtec will i need to add the wiring for vtec or just swap some plugs around?

dude look it up there is literally thousands of write ups on how to do this swap. information about this swap is scattered all over the internet. if you have any real questions where the answer isnt all over the web feel free to post

Direct bolt in swap if your vtec now then you need nuthin but to swap it over
