i have a d16y8 in a 00 civic coupe, its got an automatic transmission on it right now and im gonna put a 5 speed in it, im wondering if there is any wiring changes and if i need to switch any kind of harness from auto to 5 spd

 

i did the same exact swap like 5 years ago and don't really remember any wireing that was differant except the IACV on auto and manuals are differant. i never wired up the revers lights because there are for ****. the auto gear selector i just JB'ed it into park so that i could get the keys out and left the plastic slider thing under the center console. oh and make sure you have a manual starter before you start, and a few of your bolts are goign to be too short, like one of the starter bolts and the front tranny side mount ones need to be like an inche longer.
